Colton Pierce is a PE-licensed electrical engineer and executive grid modernization leader with 10+ years of experience owning and delivering enterprise-scale grid control system programs. His background spans utility operations, vendor solution architecture, and executive consulting, giving him a rare end-to-end perspective across the full utility technology lifecycle.
Colton has served as the executive technical owner for modernization initiatives across EMS, ADMS, SCADA, DERMS, OMS, VVO, FLISR, and AMI, leading multi-disciplinary organizations responsible for architecture definition, vendor alignment, system integration, testing, and production deployment.
Prior to founding Pierce Power Consulting, Colton held senior leadership roles at investor-owned utilities and global technology vendors, where he influenced C-suite technology decisions, led enterprise architecture strategy, and delivered operationally critical modernization outcomes. Today, he works directly with utility leadership teams to de-risk complex programs, accelerate integration, and translate modernization strategy into reliable operational reality.
